Welcome and thank you for visiting Barbara Liszcz Photography + ART

Barbara Liszcz is an on-location, portrait photographer, specializing in child, teen and family photography, serving southeastern Pennsylvania; in particular Berks, Chester and Lancaster Counties, and beyond.   Her preferred artistic style of portrait photography is lifestyle. Lifestyle photography simply means documenting the connections and interactions within the moment, exhibiting the art of living; a slice of life. This style of photography captures the essence of a person or family or couple interacting - naturally, relaxed, the true beauty of your life.

Barbara’s love of the visual arts and children alike led her to become an educator. She has an in-home studio and hosts workshops in painting, crafting and an assortment of mixed media art projects; along with her day camp, The Hive Summer Camp for Girls ages 7 and older. The camp is centered on the Arts, but also expands upon education of yoga + meditation practices, mindful communication + community projects, and more for young girls to add enrichment activities to their days during the summer break. Find out more info for the upcoming summer program, enrollment and tuition HERE.

"I believe in the beauty of each and every individual, the connections they form.  Your history, your lifelong memories deserve high-quality images that will stand the test of time.  Your story deserves to be told and recorded with care.  Developing a sense of trust with your photographer is a crucial element in this process.  That's why my mantra is to make and maintain personal connections throughout each and every interaction.  At the end of the day, when you look at your photos, are reminded of the time in front of my lens, laughing and enjoying the moment, and you feel an overwhelming sense of pride and joy, than I know I've helped to make the world a better place, one click at a time."

Barbara Liszcz has been growing her photography business and portfolio for nine plus years, a trusted professional in visual imagery committed to serving her client-friends with quality work and customer service from beginning to end, again and again. Being an on-location photographer means that Barbara is willing to travel to your home, a local park, or any venue of your choosing. Her work has been featured on The Knot, and in her local community newspaper, Tri-County Record.  She led a team of photographers and volunteered to participate in the worldwide movement known as Help-Portrait for 2 years running.

Barbara and her husband are the proud parents of 3 beautiful, energetic, creative girls.  She grew up documenting and experimenting with photography, from the age of 8, and hasn't ceased.  She is a life-long learner, an artist and a degree-certified teacher. Having a curious nature, she enjoys meeting new people and experiencing new places. She blogs, and is a published writer.
